Differences between Solvent-less Laminating machine and dry laminating machine

Coating method - Laminating machine

  • Dry laminating machine mixing glue is basically offline manual operation, as a whole there is no online automatic mixing concept. There is no Automatic glue mixer in dry laminating machine .
  • Automatic glue mixer is a core component of solvent-free compounding machine, and there is no similar device in dry compounding machine.

Curing process - Laminating machine

  • In dry composite process, curing process is usually an auxiliary process, curing temperature and time have a certain effect on the quality of composite.
  • In solvent-free composite process, curing process is the key process, curing temperature and time have great influence on the quality of composite.

  • Dry laminating machine usually running speed of 120 ~ 200 m/min. Usually machine cost lower than solvent-less one .
  • Solvent-less laminating machine common running speed between 250 ~ 600 m/min .

Different structures - Laminating machine

  • In unwinding and rewinding unit , usually solvent-less laminating machine adopt single unwinding and rewinding, while dry laminating  machine is basically adopt double station model.

 

  • About multiple independent tension control system  , Solvent-less laminating machine tension system is mainly focus of rewinding tension (The tension from laminating unit to rewinding section) control. While in the dry lamianting machine this tension is not so critical.

 

  • Two types of laminating machine rubber rollers are  different. The dry laminating machine includes coating rubber roller and compound rubber roller .
